Meta Tag Generator
Title, description, Open Graph and Twitter tags in one copy-paste block.
Build your meta tags
Fill the fields — live counts show you what Google will actually display.
- Opens full-screen in a new tab — no distractions
- This page stays open, so you can keep the guide handy
- The tool runs entirely in your browser
Your title tag decides whether a searcher clicks your result or your competitor's — and the Open Graph tags decide how your link looks when someone shares it on WhatsApp or LinkedIn. This generator builds the complete set in one pass, with the length limits the search results actually enforce. When you are done, run the free website audit and it will tell you whether your live pages pass the same checks.
How it works
- Fill in title (under 60 characters) and description (under 160).
- Add the social image URLs for rich previews.
- Copy the block into your page's <head> section.
Questions people ask
What length should my title and description be?
Aim for roughly 50–60 characters in the title and 140–160 in the description. Longer text gets cut off with an ellipsis in Google results — the generator shows you both counts as you type.
Do meta keywords still matter?
No — Google has ignored the keywords meta tag for over a decade. We keep the field only because some smaller engines and internal site searches still read it; spend your effort on the title and description instead.
Where exactly do I paste the generated tags?
Inside the <head> section of your HTML, before </head>. In WordPress your SEO plugin (Yoast, Rank Math) manages these per page — you would paste its fields there instead of raw HTML.
