A sitemap is how you hand Google the complete map of your site instead of hoping its crawler stumbles onto every page. Paste your URLs, pick how often each page changes, and download a valid sitemap.xml in one click. Dynamic sites should generate this automatically — every site we build ships one — but for static sites, migrations and quick submissions, this is the ten-second version.

How it works

  1. Paste your URLs — one per line, including https://.
  2. Set the change frequency and priority for the set.
  3. Download sitemap.xml, upload it to your site root, submit it in Search Console.

Questions people ask

Does a sitemap improve my rankings?

Not directly — it improves crawling and discovery, which is how rankings start. Pages Google cannot find cannot rank; a sitemap plus internal links is the reliable path in.

How often should I regenerate my sitemap?

Whenever you publish or remove pages. Blog-heavy sites regenerate daily or automatically; a five-page business site may not change for months — update it when the site changes.

My site runs WordPress — do I still need this?

Usually not: WordPress SEO plugins generate and update the sitemap automatically. This tool is for static sites, one-off pages, or checking exactly what your sitemap contains.
